8. Liability and Limitations

MonJoule Chef Cuisine is not responsible for food poisoning, allergies or adverse reactions caused by food prepared by the chef.

It is the client's responsibility to inform about any allergies or dietary restrictions prior to service.

It is the chef's responsibility to handle ingredients with due precautions to avoid cross contamination.

In the event of disputes, an attempt will be made to mediate between both parties before resorting to legal solutions.
9. Damages and Accidents
MonJoule Chef Cuisine is not responsible for property damage, accidents or injuries that may occur during the service.
Hosts and guests are advised to have appropriate insurance in case of accidents on their property (Monjoule can assist with acquiring insurance for owners who so prefer).
The chef is responsible for any damage caused by proven negligence in the kitchen or on the client's property.
10. Inappropriate Behavior and Expulsion from the Platform
Any offensive, discriminatory or inappropriate behavior by the chef or the client will be grounds for immediate cancellation of the service and possible expulsion from the platform.
Chefs may not consume alcohol or illicit substances while providing service.
Customers are expected to maintain a professional and respectful attitude towards chefs at all times.
11. Data Protection
Personal information of clients and chefs is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and is not shared with third parties without consent.
Neither party may use the other party's personal information for purposes other than those related to the contracted service.
12. Acceptance of the Terms
Use of the platform implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions. Any breach may result in cancellation of the service and/or expulsion from the platform or, where appropriate, in any legal action that may be required.

MonJoule Chef Cuisine is a platform that connects professional chefs with clients (travelers, hosts and event planners) looking for personalized gastronomic experiences in their home, Airbnb or special event.
2. Registration and Use of the Platform

Customers must provide truthful information when requesting a service.

Chefs must meet the experience and certification requirements necessary to provide the service.

Hosts can sign up to offer the service to their guests and receive a commission.
3. Reservations and Payments
All reservations must be made through the platform.
Advance payment is required to confirm the reservation.
Additional fees may apply depending on customization of service.
Chefs will receive payment after completing the service, minus the platform commission.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
On the part of the client: Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance may receive a partial refund. Last minute cancellations are not refundable.
On the chef's side: If a chef cancels, the customer will be offered an alternative or a full refund.
5. Responsibilities of the Parties
Customers: Must provide adequate space for food preparation and communicate any allergies or dietary restrictions in advance.
Chefs: They must guarantee quality service, hygiene and professionalism in food preparation.
Platform: Facilitates the connection between the parties, but is not responsible for the quality of the service provided by the chefs.
6. Safety and Hygiene
Chefs must comply with all health regulations in their region.
Clients must provide a clean kitchen space in suitable condition for food preparation.
Both parties are advised to maintain hygiene standards to avoid risks of food contamination.
